The warmth

Six settings. One of them is yours.

The hand-held controller has six heat levels and a timer. Turn it up for the first ten minutes, then down to the setting you can sit in all evening. After four hours it shuts itself off — so it's fine to drift off under it.

The scent

Lavender, from a panel — not sprayed on.

The lavender is a 100% natural scent panel that lives in the zip pocket alongside the heat panel. It's there when you want the wind-down and gone when you don't: unzip, lift it out, zip closed.

1How warm does it get?

There are six settings on the controller. The lowest just takes the chill off; the top one is properly toasty. Most people run it high for the first ten minutes and then drop to a middle setting for the evening. It's a throw for the sofa and the top of the bed — not a replacement for heating a cold room.

2Is it safe to fall asleep under?

It has a 4-hour auto shut-off: whatever setting you're on, it switches itself off after four hours. As with any heated blanket, don't fold it up while it's on, don't tuck it under you, and unplug it before you put it away.

3How strong is the lavender? Can I turn it off?

It's a 100% natural lavender scent panel, not a spray — a soft, wind-down kind of scent rather than a perfume. If you'd rather have a plain throw, unzip the pocket and lift the panel out; put it back whenever you want it.

4Can I wash it?

The heat and fragrance panels zip out of the blanket first — never wash it with them in. We're confirming the exact wash instructions for the fur with the maker and will add them here; in the meantime, spot-clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry.

5Which size do I need?

Medium is 140 × 80 cm — one person on the sofa, legs and lap covered. Large is 160 × 130 cm — two on the sofa, or laid across the top of a double bed. If you want to wrap yourself up completely, go Large.

6Where's the controller and how long is the cord?

The controller plugs into a connector at the edge of the blanket, so it sits beside you on the sofa. It unplugs completely when you want to move the throw around.

7Is it soft, or does the heating make it stiff?

Soft. The heat panel sits in its own pocket, so the fur outside and the fleece inside feel like the rest of our throws — plush, cloud-soft and heavy enough in the hand to feel like something.

8Will the colour match the photo?

Every colour on this page is the actual throw photographed on a real person. Screens vary — if you're between two, message us before you order and we'll describe it plainly. And if it arrives and isn't what you wanted, you have 180 days to send it back.

9How long will delivery take?

Five business days, tracked on every order, with the shipping cost for your address shown at checkout. You get the tracking number as soon as it leaves the warehouse.

10What if it isn't for me?

You have 180 nights. Use it for a season and if it still isn't right, get in touch inside that window for a full refund — it does not need to be unused.
